Ba ba ba li~

First night at Bali, Kuta.

Touched down at about 10plus pm and we took a cab out to Kuta, in hope to get a hotel room! We didn't wanna book any before the trip, just for the excitement of it. It took us bloody hell more than 2 hours of walking and dinner before settling down at Mercure Hotel. Even Hard Rock was fully booked !
Dinner after an hour + of walking. Nice ambience and live band !



Very cosy place. Food was good but beer was expensive! Some of the pictures are with him. I didn't take much during the 1st night.

THANK GOD I PACKED LIGHT, unlike him. haha!

At Mercure which is next to Hard Rock. Which was about hmm..130+USD per night?
Didn't take pictures of the room but it was NICE!!!! Super cosy!!

Next morning, checked out and headed to Ubud. We didn't like Kuta and UBUD was the RIGHT PLACE !! Cabbed down to Ubud to Kuta was about 21K rupiah. Some of them actually offered at 25K but we decided to try BLUE BIRD ( their taxi group name) with the meter and 25 or 35% extra charge lah.

Our 2nd hotel. Don't ask me the name. We simply got the driver to randomly drive us around and let us picked a hotel and we picked this! Its bout 128USD per night!
Each hotel just got cheaper and better!

The toilet was HUGE !!



Our Front yard. AMAZING. Simply got up in the morning and sat outside to enjoy the morning breeze. LIFE WAS SIMPLY peaceful there.

Washed up and ready to get breakfast and to explore!

Will return to get some of these. LOVE THEIR ARTSY WORK !

Ok. our hotel is just near the exit of Monkey Forest, Ubud. On the right side of the street. Have to walk in lah. They have this super nice pool too!
Thats all i can remember. LOL.



Yes. Heavy breakfast. Haha!

Its a homestay. NICE but no air-con and he cannot tahan. lol.

35K rupiah for half a day. Standard's only bout 50K rupiah for one day.

Went out of ubud to explore.

THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE TRIP !
